General Manager Description of the works

Project Manager (Execution) Construction of Tansa Masonry Dam Strengthening Works comprising construction of 68 Buttresses in Colgrout Masonry and strengthening of spillway Allied works include construction of Submersible Bridge on d/s of dam, Improvement to the Atgaon-Tansa Road: 13 Km. length and construction of Cat Walk Steel Bridge, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Excavation by controlled blasting and chiselling
Apron concrete in OF section
Drilling and grouting of the existing old dam
Anchoring of buttresses with the old dam
Construction of 72m long Submersible Bridge on the Tansa River on d/s of dam
Cat Walk Steel Bridge 2m wide and 620 long on the OF section
Lighting arrangement on the top of dam
Epoxy plaster in the intake well
Replacement of emergency sluice valve and 72m long 2400mm diameter pipe
Improvement to the Atgaon-Tansa road: 13 Km length by 6mm seal coat over 50mm thick premix bitumen concrete for 3.75m width

Project Manager Construction of Andra Valley Dam Project, including Foundation and Inspection galleries, Sump well, Irrigation cum Power outlet, Ogee shaped un gated crest, Lift well, Energy dissipation arrangement (EDA), End weir etc. Mangrul, Pune, Maharashtra.

On upstream (u/s) there was 5m wide colgrout masonry and on d/s random rubble masonry in1:5 mortars. D/s of OF was covered with 1.6m wide M 25 grade concrete. Masonry and concrete were bonded by providing anchor bars partially in masonry and remaining in concrete.

Site Engineer Construction of Wan River Dam Project, including Foundation gallery, Inspection galleries, Sump well, Power outlet, Canal outlet, Energy dissipation arrangement (EDA), End weir etc. Wari, Akola Maharashtra, Government of Maharashtra.

Planning, Supervision, Scheduling, co-ordination, record keeping, making oral presentation to project manager, colleagues, supervisors on daily basis were the main duties which I had performed in this project very efficiently.
